OSB CLE Program No.: 2416*153
Unbundling legal services has become a hot topic, as many (especially lower-income) clients are asking how to do more with less. In response, lawyers are seeking new models for delivering legal services so that clients can avoid the often-risky route of “do-it-yourself” legal work. Unbundling is one of the new approaches – limiting the scope of a lawyer’s representation to the areas or projects the client wants most, even in litigation. Although you can ethically unbundle your services, do you know how and when you can do that? Amber Hollister, General Counsel for the OSB, discusses the the ins and outs of offering unbundled services to your clients.
