The Jackson County Bar Association and the OSB Professional Liability Fund are sponsoring a free CLE and social hour, Thursday, October 19, 2017, for all lawyers in Jackson County.

“Technology Tips & Practice Pointers,” will include practice tips to keep your office up to date and running smoothly, including apps, Websites, tools, and resources that any lawyer can use to improve his or her practice. Learn how to instantly organize bills and paperwork; research new technology; detect and prevent malware; annotate PDF documents with searchable handwritten notes; avoid common eCourt traps; authenticate images; share files instantly across all platforms using simple drag and drop; turn your phone into a portable scanner; create instant inventories of your client files; and save money on software, services, and ABA resources.

The social hour and reception, with fellow Jackson County lawyers and members of the PLF Board of Directors, will immediately follow the CLE. You can attend the CLE, reception, or both.

The CLE will be presented by the PLF Practice Management Advisor, Sheila Blackford.
