In today’s legal market, most clients prefer to pay for services electronically. Because of this, the digital payment space is rapidly evolving, and you may be wondering how to keep up while keeping your costs down. Practice Management Attorney Kalia Walker with the Oregon State Bar Professional Liability Fund will walk you through the current legal payments landscape, credit card processing options, and practice management tips to know as you modernize your payment systems.
Biography
Kalia Walker is a practice management attorney at the Professional Liability Fund. She received her BBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and earned her JD from the University of Oregon School of Law. Ms. Walker provides confidential practice management assistance to Oregon attorneys to reduce their malpractice exposure and enhance their delivery of legal services within the community. She is a member of the Oregon State Bar and previously served as a Board Member for Oregon Women Lawyers and the University of Oregon Law School Alumni Association. Prior to joining the Professional Liability Fund, Ms. Walker was in private practice for seven years. Her practice focused primarily on employment and general commercial litigation matters throughout the Pacific Northwest.
This seminar is free to SSF section members but registration is required. Non-SSF members are welcome to attend for $19.
